Highcon “Fireside Chats” are an opportunity to hear directly from customers about their experience with the Highcon digital converting systems.

On August 11th 2021 Simon Lewis, Highcon VP Marketing hosted Mr. Jordan Patterson, Vice President at Virtual Packaging, for a live conversation about the reasons behind their decision to purchase a Highcon system in 2019 alongside their Landa digital press, making them the first all-digital B1 packaging site in North America.

Going on over 20 years, Virtual Packaging prides itself on making prototype and mock-up packaging for customers of all sizes. This includes all types of bags, folding cartons, POP displays, shrinks, labels, and dry transfers. Virtual Packaging is a completely digital manufacturer and by staying digital they have been able to achieve up to same-day turnaround times. Over time they realized how much demand was increasing for shorter production runs that took up less inventory space. This was to help both customers and co-packers get products on shelves even quicker than traditional means. As they say, the Highcon Beam was the only machine that could fill the finishing role to make this new department a success.
