Highcon announced today that the company will be demonstrating its new Highcon™ Axis web-to-pack platform at Booth #1939, at the Graph Expo 2015 trade show in Chicago, September 13-16th, 2015.
Highcon Axis is a 2D to 3D platform that enables packaging manufacturers to add online ordering capability to the services they offer.
Highcon has collaborated with industry leaders XMPie and Esko to provide this best-of-breed solution to its customers.
Ido Tsalka, Managing Director, Web-to-Pack at Highcon said: “In order to bring this robust solution to market we have cooperated with the industry experts in personalization and packaging solutions. Together we will extend the existing digital workflow from initial design all the way through to digital package production on the Highcon™ Euclid.”

Highcon will be installing the Axis solution at beta sites towards the end of 2015. Two existing Highcon customers have already agreed to be beta sites, Glossop Cartons in the UK and Boutwell Owens & Co., Inc. in the USA.

The next logical step is an on-line web-to-pack solution and our natural partner for this new venture is Highcon. We are currently in the process of building the on-line shop that will enable Glossop Cartons to automatically process short run orders, using Highcon Axis without the need for administration.”
