This is a dynamic, customer interfacing role that combines technical, business analysis and customer relationship skills to successfully sell and promote Highcon’s product offerings. You will work closely with customers, gain in-depth understanding of Highcon digital cutting and creasing technology and its value within the print and packaging supply chain.
We are looking for a technical expert with business skills, who will provide pre-sale application and demo support services to the sales teams around the world – direct sales and distribution channels. You will develop the pre-sales tools and demos as well as gathering and disseminating application knowledge within the organization
Must have knowledge of packaging design and finishing applications specifically and printing workflows in general.
Ability to define print and packaging solutions that are not only visually appealing, but also cost-effective, practical, and user-centered
The job requires a variety of skills; technical, business, customer relationships, strong presentation skills
Team player – working closely with Sales and Customers
Fluent in English – another major European language an advantage
Develop strong and broad application knowledge in digital finishing.
Technical knowledge of packaging workflow/structural design solutions
Understanding of production processes in the printing/packaging industry.
Provide strong application support to Highcon sales team and channels in sales engagements.
Conduct customer demos and off-line tests of customer jobs.
Assist in proving the business case through application and value knowledge. This requires frequent field visits to prospects with the sales team.
In conjunction with Highcon Marketing, develop case studies, sales tools and materials to support the value message within the sales cycle.
Work closely with the Highcon Sales and Marketing management to help disseminate this information across the company, supporting the internal knowledge growth
