Highcon is looking for experienced engineer who will play a central role in assessing supplier quality and ensuring that products received are free of defects.
The quality engineer will communicate between senior management and suppliers to address and resolve quality issues, providing technical input and guidance on process enhancements and improvements both from technical and management aspects.
Rules and Responsibilities
Work with suppliers and vendors to enhance processes and resolve errors and other issues
Monitor claims investigations, corrective actions, suggest solutions to identified production problems
Responsible for creating and updating quality procedures and forms
Responsible for generating QC inspection guidance and setting up quality control points during 0 batch production, training and monitoring QC inspection/ auditing at the NPI stage
Skills and Qualifications
B.Sc in Quality/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
5+ years of proven experience in quality assurance
At least 2 years of experience in leading quality processes in a manufacturing organization, including actual experience working with the production and engineering departments.
Good understanding of statistical methods, quality tools, and methodologies. working with quality systems – an advantage
Knowledge of different engineering and logistics systems (Solidworks & Priority - an advantage)
Self-motivated, independent, and problem solving oriented
Strong interpersonal communication skills with an ability to build relationships and work across multi-functional organizations.
