Role

Highcon is looking for a Global Technical Support Manager to join our Customer Support team, covering all post-sale customer technical support around the world and back up for our regional support managers

Responsibilities

  • Leading a team of technical support engineers at Highcon HQ providing remote and on-site support for Highcon customers
  • Cover new systems installations including customer training & maintenance training as well as field upgrades installation
  • Provide install base performance analysis and work with our NPI, Engineering, and R&D teams on needed developments
  • Technical escalation management

Qualifications

  • >4 years’ experience from multidisciplinary capital equipment companies
  • >2 years managerial experience
  • Strong hands-on technical capabilities  
  • Proven successful record in customer support/customer success position
  • BSc in mechanical/electrical engineering from a known recognized institute
  • Background from the print industry – an advantage
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English - must
  • Excellent social skills and service orientation
  • Availability for travels ~40% of the time
  • Ability to work in flexible time zones at times (America, Asia)
