Role

Highcon is looking for a Field Support Engineer to join our global customer support division, covering all post-sale customer technical support around the Americas territory, reporting to the US regional support manager

Responsibilities

  • Remote and on-site technical support for Highcon customers
  • New machines installations including customer training & maintenance training
  • Field upgrades installation
  • Install base performance analysis
  • Procedures and BKM creation
  • Technical escalation management and customer facing

Qualifications

  • >4 years’ experience from multidisciplinary capital equipment companies – an advantage
  • Proven successful record in customer support / customer success position
  • BSc in mechanical / electrical engineering from a known recognized institute
  • Background from the print industry – an advantage
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English - must
  • Excellent social skills and service orientation
  • Availability for travels ~60% of the time
  • Ability to work in flexible time zones at times (America, Asia)
  • Multi lingual (Hebrew , Spanish) – an advantage
