Business Development Manager for USA

Job Description:

Highcon Systems Ltd., is seeking a USA based Business Development Manager to drive expansion of the application range, usage and growth of digital finishing, working directly with customers, prospects and the brand owner community.

Responsibilities:

Through a high level of customer interaction and understanding of Highcon digital finishing, develop an expert knowledge of the applications for digital finishing and the associated value within the supply chain.

Develop this knowledge to support new Highcon customers, enabling them to accelerate their business through a structured approach. This requires working closely with customers on-site, at a senior level within their Sales and Executive staff.

Use the wide range of application knowledge to support the Highcon sales team within the sales cycle, helping to prove the business case through application and value knowledge. This requires frequent field visits to prospects with the sales team.

In conjunction with Highcon Marketing team, develop case studies and material to support the value message and sales cycle.

Develop close links to brand owners and designers, gaining an intimate knowledge of requirements and trends. Use these insights to link customers and brand owners, helping to drive growth and development of new applications.

Work closely with the Highcon Sales and Marketing management to help disseminate this information across the company, supporting the internal knowledge growth.

Represent Highcon at industry events, presenting the value and being the local ‘digital evangelist’.

To help identify new customer requirements and feed this back to Highcon product marketing.

Qualifications- Education and Experience: 

Marketing and or Sales experience and qualifications

Good writing and presentation skills

Knowledge and skills:

The same or similar experience in a business growth or marketing role.

Skills in working directly with customers and prospects either in a marketing, business development or sales position. Capable of succinctly presenting information and able to extract information efficiently.

Experience within the digital printing, media or packaging industry with knowledge of the supply chain for print production, preferably related to folded cartons.

A creative thinker able to take information and develop new ideas.

Enthusiastic yet empathetic, able to listen and develop thinking within others.

Highly presentable and able to work remotely and within a small team. Evidence of self-motivation.

Preferable experience of working within an international and diverse cultural environment.
