Highcon Shape

The Highcon Shape 3D machine was shown at drupa 2016 as a technology preview implementing Highcon’s Rapid Layer Manufacturing Technology which aims to  transform the 3D print world from rapid production to rapid manufacturing.

The Highcon Shape, envisaged for release in drupa 2020, will deliver real life, large scale products from a file to reality, within minutes, using standard, recycled or even used paper. Different substrates can be used to achieve different properties, textures, speed and meet application requirements.

This machine will produce products at high speeds and at costs that are unmatched by any 3D printing technology. The result is a truly revolutionary process to produce everyday items, such as furniture, conceptual models, stands and displays which can be customized and personalized, and models for industrial use, releasing the design limits of existing production technologies.

The Rapid Layering Technology is behind Highcon’s 3D Modeling software, already part of the collection of optional modules available for Highcon machines.

With Highcon Variable Data Cutting, high powered lasers and advanced optics cut each layer cut differently, according to the original digital design file. A complete process of waste removal, stacking and gluing is carried out automatically on the machine.

The Highcon Shape can build objects up to 2 meters (6 and a half ft) in height.
Welcome to the shape of the future!
